Soyjak Shot With Hope Syringe, also known as Soyjak Getting Hope Shot or Hopejak, refers to a Wojak cartoon of a tied-down Soyjak getting injected by a giant syringe with a yellow liquid labeled "Hope." The drawing went viral in a series of image macros and caption memes on Twitter / X in mid-2025. It typically represented a profound feeling of hope, sometimes against a person's will. The image's meaning was also akin to Hopium.
Origin
On April 7th, 2025, Paradox Forum[8] user BenomXDD posted a drawing of a shirtless Soyjak strapped down, getting injected by a giant syringe reading, "Hope" (shown below). The image was captioned, "HOPIUM."

Spread
On April 16th, 2025, X[1] user @alob_e tweeted the image, captioning it, "We're halfway through the week." The tweet received over 60,000 likes in two months (shown below).

On April 18th, 2025, X[2] user @heyilyforever tweeted the Soyjak Shot With Hope Syringe image, captioning it, "Listening to Jeff Rosenstock in weather above 50 degrees," concerning the American singer-songwriter. Over two months, the tweet gained roughly 3,500 likes (shown below).

On April 30th, X[3] user @maguhnolia quote-tweeted a post that asked, "Ever see art so good you cried?" attaching the Soyjak Shot With Hope Syringe image. The post gained over 139,000 likes in a month (shown below).

Around the same timeframe, the original image was reposted on Instagram.[4]
On May 10th, 2025, the Facebook[5] page Evil Niqqa Memes 3 shared an exploited version of the image, instead showing Chudjak and referencing the Nothing Ever Happens meme. Over one month, the post gained roughly 510 reactions (shown below).

The abovementioned meme was reposted by the Facebook[6] page >Implying video games are fun on May 11th, gaining over 1,100 reactions in a month.
On May 28th, 2025, Instagram[7] user @subparliftingmemes posted a recaptioned version of the meme, which instead read, "Getting enough sleep," on the syringe. Over six days, the post gained roughly 14,100 likes (shown below).
