About
Yeah, I Play Baseball, also known as Yes, I Play Baseball, and often followed by How Can You Tell? or How Did You Know? refers to a series of memes making fun of the stereotypical idea of a young Gen Z and Gen Alpha white boy who plays baseball.
Symbols of the stereotype include the Ice Cream Haircut, ice cream shorts from the brand "Baseball Lifestyle," Pit Viper style sunglasses and Yeezy Slides. Certain memes, trends and slang terms are also associated with the stereotype, most notably the use of "6-7" and "huzz." Enjoying the music of Ken Carson, Playboi Carti and other Opium label rappers was also likened to the stereotype. Yeah, I Play Baseball memes surfaced en masse on TikTok in 2025. Many of the videos used the TikTok sound of Seven Harris' "So Fun" song, I Got a Brand New Saxophone or a melodica cover of Lil Phoebe. Viral videos like the 6-7 Kid With Fluffy Hair also played a role in the meme's rise.
